Aurume
There was this frightening creature, a strange god who awakened with the rest of the Primordials or First Generation Gods ... Only, when the other newly awakened Gods saw him, they ran away in terror. And so, he has been alone ever since he opened his glowing, red eyes for the first time.
Ever wandering from place to place, no place to call home, no pantheon, no gods to call his friends. For so many years he was alone, billions of years even.
Until he met her. She was an average-looking young half-elven girl. She had the golden brown hair and bright green eyes of a Wood Elf. Her hair hung to her mid back, in shining waves. Close to her 13'th birthday. Her mother had cheated on her father, and he hated her because she was not his daughter. But that wasn't the only reason she was cast away and thrown out to live on her own the moment her mother died. ... She was blind. The result of a terrible illness when she was 8. She couldn't see a thing. Maybe that was why she was alone out there, wandering in the woods as a mere 13 year old child. She hadn't seen the man stalking her, with evil thoughts on his mind; but she did hear one thing. A voice, as dark as the darkest night; deep, smooth, and velvety as if the night sky spoke, followed by a terrified scream and feet fleeing away. Completely blind, she had no idea who her savior was - but she knew one thing. She was safe with him.
She didn't know who this strange man was, with the cold presence and clawed touch, but she knew she was safe. He never left her as she aged into a beautiful young woman. Over the years, their bond grew closer and closer; he protected her with all he was, he brought her food and cared for her, and she was the light of his life. When they were together, he wasn't lonely anymore, and nothing made him happier then to sit and talk far into the night. They talked and talked, sometimes until she fell asleep in his arms. He had never been happier.
"You know... I wish I could see your face... Erebos..." She whispered one night, soon after her 18th birthday, delicate fingertips brushing over shadowy black skin. "To see again.. That is my greatest wish. I remember seeing when I was a child. I miss it so much..."
It was a wish he could grant. He was a God, after all; but ... Every time somebody had seen him they had ran away - gods feared him, Mortals feared him. Even if he had never hurt anybody, everybody feared him... Surely if she got her greatest wish, she would see him for what he really was, and become terrified of him... he would lose the love of his life.
But he knew he could make her happy. The choice was difficult to make; Be alone for the rest of eternity; or make the love of his life happy? He realized that her happiness meant way more to him then him keeping her beside him; and so he granted her wish. He gave her her eyesight back.
Her first instinct was to draw away with a gasp of fright; to run from the living shadow that held her close; and he let her go. She started to back away, shaking like a leaf, until she saw tears gathering in the being's glowing red eyes and saw him turn as if to walk away. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that she recognized him in a strange way; his quiet, sad voice and the gentle, tender feel of his hands in hers. She realized then that she still loved him, even if he was a frightening being. To her, in this moment, he was the most beautiful thing she had ever lain eyes on. All fear disappeared as she ran and jumped into his arms. She apologized for being so afraid of him at first.
They were together forever since; even when age took her, her spirit stayed beside him.
And he wasn't lonely any more.
Anyway - Aurume is Erebos' true love. Like, he loves her more then anything in the entire world. He is protective of her, loves her, and cares for her deeply.
She's pretty average-looking for the most part. Golden brown hair, green eyes eyes, pointed ears (Half wood Elf) and slender and curved in all the right places.
One can note that Aurume is quite a kinky little thing... She talks Erebos into all sorts of... interesting situations.
